Had our Gunshow this past weekend.
Didn't find much I needed (or could afford)
Made some money. Could have been better.
I did buy one interesting item.

Wrong picture.
I just can't seem to get a hang of this picture thing.
See next post.
Sorry.

Looks like a set of trammels for scribing large circles. Put them on the appropriate size bar set radious and scribe the needed cirlcle.

Well, I know I don't have any of the above amongst my assorted 'stuff', so how's about some history? What is it?

Trammel points. You put them on a wooden standard and use them to measure/transfer measurements with.

It's a Trammel. Looked old, and I've never seen one befor, so I had to have it.
I like old tools.

We put on our Gunshow two times a year.
Over 250 tables. Two days. All in one big room.
We have a few vendors for the states that come to the show.
Vacation tax write off.

Yup - trammel points. Got a set in a drawer myself, just in case.

Is the gunshow held at the Blaisdell center in Honolulu? If so, that would be great. I am just up the street by the punchbowl. An easy walk down the hill! Jay

The show was at the NBC in Honolulu.
You'll have to wait untill the next one in Sep or Oct.
Also found some M1 Carbine parts and a Lyman 314299 mould.
Sold two rifles for friends, and lots of odds and ends.
Good time, with good people.

Next time the gun show comes around I have the perfect day planned. First I'll walk down to the show and spend a few hours. Then I'll head down to Wahoos fish tacos at the corner of ward and Auahi street for a burrito combo and a coke. After that, with whatever leftovers I have, I'll go to ala moana park and feed those funny looking green fish with the big heads in the canal. And of course I'll save some rice for those miniature dove like birds that are always underfoot. After that I am going to cheat and take the bus home so I won't have to walk back up the hill! Jay
