Hopefully there is a picture of two war babies.

You need to: the link goes here

Make sure you have the pic on one of the picture hosting sites like Photobucket, Picture Trail, etc. I prefer Photobucket myself. They have where you can just click on the IMG code and it is automatically copied. All you have to do is paste then.

Use the IMG code

Not the HTML

What do you mean? Do you mean on Photobucket, where I have the 4 different options under the picture?

Got it!!

I was pasting using the "insert image" tab on this forum. That last time I just selected the IMG code and just pasted right into the message. Thanks!

If I may be allowed to steal this thread for moment... I see some of the photos posted have dialog both before and after the photo, comments are posted, then a photo, then maybe an explanation, then another photo, more dialog, etc,.. How do you do that????

Just have to be on at the same time and able to lend some advice. His link on post #4 gave me enough info to be able to jump ahead and walk him through it.

Type you message, then insert a photo link, then type more, then insert a photo link and keep going till you are done. Use the preview feature to see what it looks like.

Wait a minute, you said 'photolink'...It may work with hosted photos. I've only tried it with photos direct from my hard drive.

Can't go directly from hard drive. You need to use a picture host like Photobucket or Picture Trail. You upload pic to the picture host site and link to it.

Should mention that you need to set up an account there. No worries, it's free.

Already have account, it's just faster and easier to pull them from my hard drive. But I'll have to post them if I want to sow words around the pictures. Glad I found out about that, I was starting to think I was as dumb as some folks think I am...

Not dumb not knowing. Dumb is not knowing and then running the machinery anyhow.

Photobucket is really easy to work with. You can have two tabs open (castboolits on one, Photobucket on the other), post the picture on Photobucket, then copy the link and paste it on the castboolits.

Another handy tool is Clipboard Recorder. It allows you to copy up to 99 objects onto your clipboard at once. Great for multiple picture posts.
