Lubing the Lyman 358432-160, one groove or two?

I've seen a lot of posts on the Lyman 358495 recommending that only the bottom lube groove be filled. Does this go for the two groove Lyman 358432-160 wadcutter as well?

I usually lube all the grooves but that's just me.

Generally,
I lube only one or two grooves, even on designs that offer more.
Then I let the gun tell me what it want's.
The answer will vary

I loob the bottom two and seat to the third, upper, and taper crimp for my Colt Officers Models. Works very well.

I've tried it twice with different wadcutters, and both shot tighter groups with only a single groove lubed. Not a huge difference, but noticeable and repeatable. I was only shooting them to about 850 fps. Your gun/load may require more lube. Try it both ways and see what works for you. Have fun.

This is my first cast with this mold, I've got about 400 boolits (takes a while with a two cavity mold :razz:) that I went ahead and lubed both grooves on. I'll try one groove next time. Haven't loaded/shot any yet.

Comparing the 358432 to a 358156, it seems the single groove in the 358156 is the same size as the grooves in the wadcutter. I'll try one groove next time.
