Some succeed and many fail with TL designs in 9mm. I would recommend
the 356 120 TC conventional lube without reservation.' but sized large,
like .357 or .358

Check the stickies - "setting up a new 9mm for boolits" - may help.

I have the Lee 102 RN and the 120 TC...both work well in my 9mm Taurus 99AF w/ 3.5 grains of Bullseye. Tried the RN-TL and it didn't work well. Also have tried the Lee 105 SWC...I get a jam up ever so often with it.

I use the Lee 356 124 2r tl and have NEVER had a problem with any load I ran thru my 9mm. This after 4-5 k loads loaded and shot. Lube with LLA size to 356 and lube again. Load shoot repeat.

Look up tumbling 9mm. It is almost always a LEE tumble lube 9mm version. The regular lube grove 120 TC is a fantastic bullet for the 9mm if you have a lubesizer.

Bill: I just read your sticky. Awesome. Very educational and to the point.
The only question I have on your (excellent) report is on the taper crimping. You are indicating that the proper sized bullet is crimped and then the TC is "set for your chamber."
If you could, could you explain what is meant by this, that is, "set for your chamber." thanks

bill boy great write up!

I have this mold (my first mold aka newb) however I have achieved pretty good accuracy using as dropped (.3575) lubed with White Labels 45-45-10 out of my XD.

I do get some light muzzle leading after 25rds that after a couple passes of wire brush goes away. I probably will try another mold however I'm not done trying. Will work okay for drills, practice and plinking.
