Never heard of them. I did find that it is usually cheaper to replace a broke tv than repair it nowadays. Did you try contacting the company?

Have any local repair guys? The guy I've used here works part time. He charges 25 bucks to check it out. He's very good about telling you the problem and the cost. last one he had in for me he called and said he could fix it but the parts were within 75 bucks of a new TV so he said don't fix it. If you do get one repaired he deducts the 25 bucks off the repair price. I think that's a good deal.

Chuck it. Plasma screens are terrible energy hogs. LCD screens are plenty cheap enough now.

90% of flat screen TV problems are bad electrolytic capacitors in the power supplies.

LCD's are the only way to go. Plasma's are a thing of the past.

Best bet is to can it and buy a new LCD. Prices are pretty low these days.

the lens on the front of that TV makes a good emergency cooker. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ilQPR26hlY

"90% of flat screen TV problems are bad electrolytic capacitors in the power supplies." I will look into this, I was hoping to catch some TV repair guy on craigslist to give me 100.00 for it but no takers yet

At the casino we had to mount 6 of those things 15 feet off the ground... there was a lot of swearing that day. 6 months in of continuous use and 3 had to come down because of failed electrolytics. Being the only one in the shop with TV repair experience it turned into my headache to keep those things running. After 18 months they started to burn in and we replaced them with LCDS that were 1/3 the weight. Before the LCD's even went up I beefed up the power supplies so they would stay up and not be in the shop.

One job I did a few years back had 16 mounted in rows of 4. With the extra electronics they could make one huge picture or separate them out for various scenes. Also Plasma because of the clarity. These seemed to take down the power supply and it was replaced as a module.

Years ago Runco was recognized as a good product in the theatre line. I would assume worst case you could purchase a rebuilt power supply and have it going in a few minutes.

As Mary has stated the power supply caps are usually the problem with the newer flat screen LCD's and LED's. In an effort to save money they use caps rated at the power supply voltage or if your real lucky your power supply voltage is slightly under the caps rating. Unfortunately they do not use caps rated at 105c and opt for the cheaper 85c rated caps. Everything I work on I replace with 105c caps and the next voltage rating for the caps so that its way above the power supply voltage.
