Observations on the weekend...

1) Bottom pours are nice and all, but I'm a dipper guy.

2) Once you get them figured out, Lee 6 bangers will turn out a lot of boolits.

3) 60 pounds of WW isn't a lot once you get a 6 banger churning.

4) 50 pounds of sorted C358-180RF "keepers" makes a nice pile. :)

1) The 4- and 6-cavity molds WILL crank out a lotta boolits in a short time. One of each alternated while casting will empty out a 22# RCBS pot in no time at all.

2) A 16-month old grandson can eat an INCREDIBLE amount of home-made pancakes.

3) One hour into the open season, doves know the maximum effective range of 20 gauge target loads--and make it their business to stay a minimum of 17 feet further away on overflights. Crows know this year-round, BTW.

4) It's easy to tell when the temps go below 90 degrees in Niland--the locals start wearing layered clothing.
