any recomendations on flat nose 405 bullets

NEI has one number 226A that is a 300 grain with a flat point for the .405 on the New for 2002 catalog page. There is also a 325 grain .412 diameter that looks like it may work for you. For me, as soon as I figure out just exactly what it is I want, I'll be order one from Mountain Molds for my .405 Van Horn Encore barrel.

The original Lyman or Ideal bullet was 412263, I believe.

I am pretty sure it is still offered.

It works fine in my 1895 so I would imagine it would be okay in your #1.

I shoot one a lot in an original Win 95 so comparing the Ruger to the Win 95 kinda like apples and oranges. The 95 likes a 300 gr. FP hardcast (18bhn) with GC sized to .414 loaded to about 1600 fps using 5744. The groove dia on the 95 is .414

Coincidence: I just emailed NEI the other day for specs. I have a Douglas barrel for a Siamese Mauser, .4115 groove, .402 bore. The 225A and/or 225B look good to me. .402-.403 nose, and not too long past the crimp groove. Since you can get two different bullets in one mold from NEI, I am figuring I'll get the 350 grain A bullet for serious, and the B bullet in 275, as an express/plinker load. All this is BS to a degree, as I expect either will do in any whitetail I may happen to see. I only have one other NEI mold, but it's a beauty! .375-270 DD and a .439-370 DD; only cast a few, never shot them, but they looked nice.
The 325 looks nice, but the meplat appears smaller, and it's a tad long for my gun, I think.
