Just finished casting these from straight WW with lee molds and a lee 20lb pot, I got about 100 230gr TC and 50 or so 230gr LRN, both .452. I can now say I'm officially addicted to this, quite a few of them came out frosty, and 6 or 7 without a filled shoulder but otherwise I'm really happy.

now I just need MORE LEAD!! and a powder coating setup would be great too.

Wow... Very very nice job... Wayyyyyyyyyyy better then my first cast session...

You should have no trouble feeding your new addiction around here... Thought I saw somebody selling 65lb boxes of range lead this very evening... Better jump on it...

Welcome to the addiction...

Just got 5 jugs of powder coat today. Just waiting for my moulds to come in and I'll be busy like you! Great looking boolits tho! Keep up the good work, and good luck in the search for more lead.

Thanks everyone, I plan to go cast a few more today. I only have 30 lbs or so left, WW are pretty tough to find around here.

Nice job!! I havent tried casting with my new Lee molds yet and hope they cast like that..... All my others are either NOE or Accurate, All I have done since I got the Lee's is clean them real good with soap, water and a toothbrush just like every other mold I got.

Add a little Ajax or any other cleanser to the soap and scrub well. use the tooth brush while rinsing to get it all off. I tried this method about a month ago and it works better than any thing I have tried. Be sure to pre-heat the mold. My first batch of boolits (1500) with a new 125 gr. 6 cav. Lee 357/38 mold, I had no rejects. A few of them had nothing more than a few slight wrinkles but all of them were shootable.

Todays batch is done, 340 in total and they all turned out better than the first. turned the temp down and had very few frosty ones.

Thanks, and a powder coating setup in on the top of my list, if I can convince myself I don't need more molds!

You need at least 2 molds for every caliber you shoot.... so you know which is more accurate...
