I was wanting some 4759 before it is gone forever, and just happened to stop by sportsmans yesterday. They had stocked a powder shipment and there was the first 4759 I have actually seen in over a year. They have a 2 pound limit, but I had my wife go down and get her limit. Unless it is oddball powder never last until closing time, but I went back this morning and there was still 3 pounds left, 2 of which is on my shelf. lol All other powder except for 50BMG was gone, just the 3 pounds of 4759, so I am feeling pretty lucky.

It is a major deal for us to order it from the lower 48, we pretty much get what we see, when we can.

Good on you! I called my local gun shop and asked that they order in an 8 pounder for me. I am sorry to say I don't think I'll ever see it because his supplier is not getting much of anything at this time. It is the craziest thing. Don't know how we got to this point. Things in the powder industry seemed pretty stable to me over the past few decades, but now something upset the apple cart. I guess all those new concealed carry people are reloading for their 380s, and 9mms!

No one locally sells powder where I live. So bit the bullet and got a 8lb jug from Powder Valley. Wanted some 231 for 38 special. Well HP38 is the same thing and called a guy who sells reloading stuff. Got the last 6 one pound cans he had. Wasn't cheap but then what with all the crazyness going on consider myself lucky. Frank

The 4759 was 3199 a pound, actually not a bad price here.
