View Full Version : Another .50 Razorback

Here's another .50 Razorback that I just finished. This one is wearing a Tactical Leupold 4x14 scope, HS Precision Stock, built on a Rem. 700 action.

I am in the process of developing a load for it and intend to shoot lots of cast in it. The best thing about this rifle is that one can shoot bullets anywhere from 350 grain to the 750 BMG bullets on the cheap. It uses a .300 RUM case cut off at the neck and then the bullet is stuffed in it and shot. Since most .50 rounds cost several bucks a piece, these can be made for very little if one uses cast bullets.

That's quite the rifle - Did you make the muzzle brake?

I did. I used a barrel blank and basically took the pattern from a Vais brake.

Very Nice! I read a bunch of your blog. I like the GSG MP5. Much more affordable than I was expecting.

The way you did your HP pins for your mold was ingenious, too.
