Fire Lapping?????

I have never heard of this I have been casting for 4-5 years now but new to this forum and only a couple friends that cast I have asked around and done some searches on this forum but none of them seem to describe what it is, what its for ? Thanks

Well...... basically in a nutshell,it is shooting abrasive bullets through your gun in an effort to relieve tight spots and to smooth rough bores.
