I've seen Lyman #402 and #467 tossed around. Which one works better for you?

The #467 works for me, no marks on the boolit.

I use the 402

I had a 38 RN punch that I filled with JB weld and sanded flat. Works with any of my 38 size boolits with flat noses including my 105 Lee.

Ok so either one works just as well as the other?

Yes. The 105 has a flat tip so any top punch with a flat area will work. The 402 is a closer fit because the tip of the 105 somewhat resembles the shape of the tc bullet the 402 was designed for.

Yes. I attached a chart from cast pics showing both to work. http://www.castpics.net/subsite/TopPunches/Lee.html Hope this helps.

I use these for most all flat point bullets.

Cool, I'll just probably go with the 402. Thanks!

I use the flat punches from Accurate, as well.
