Ok now that I have you attention, I am well versed with this rifle and its many many feeding issues, if anyone has an 1894c that has tried to feed a wadcutter may know what I am talking about.
Anyway I purchased a 450 Marlin 1895G and boy it feeds nice, in fact comments about how well the rifle feeds are abound online. I had read rumors online that certain cowboy models had a feed ramp, I called Marlin a few years ago to talk about this barrel and ramp and they said did not know what I was talking about, well sure as sh&t there is a feed ramp on my 1895G and not one on my 1894c. Anyone here have an 1894c with this ramp?
