Are small rifle magnum primers a must?

For igniting SR4759 in the .223 and .221?
My Lyman cast bullet book (third edition) suggests them.
Just wondering if I could get by without them.
I just got 9 lbs of this powder and it is new to me.

I use standard primer for that powder in large and small cases.

Same here i just use regular types of primers.

H335 supposedly wants a magnum primer too. I've never used them and never had a problem. YMMV, of course.

I use whatever primers I have!

Only thing to watch for.........some pistols do not have enough "hit" to fire rifle primers. Only thing I have found with primers.
