My daughter about 5 years ago helping me clean guns. I had to go and find the CD that had the older pics, and got lost looking at the kids when they were younger. Didn't seem that long ago and yet they are WAY bigger now. I was complaining to my wife this morning that I won't be able to get any work done President's week because the both have it off. Think I just changed my mind, be glad to have them home.

That's what my father used to say. One of the reasons I am a stay at home dad, just do this leather and bullet business to pay for Karate, guitar, piano lessons, Cub Scouts, stuff like that!

You bet! My wife, kids and I all shoot Cowboy Action shoots. I generally do 2 a month, they do 1 or 2 depending on if they have other activities. Right now they shoot a Henry .22 lever, .22 Ruger Single Sixes and a older single barrel .410 with Blackpowder shells I load myself. Commercial ammo is too expensive and I can load the BP for less recoil(but more fun!) Have to find some pics of them shooting and post them here. We all competed in the California State BP Championship shoot a few months a go and they both placed 2nd. OK, there were only 6 kids, but they weren't 3rd! And my son was the youngest shooter. He is a better rifle shot and she is better with the pistols. I figure after he gets bigger his pistol skills will go up. She is 110 lbs but he is only 62. Neither one of them miss much with the rifle while competing but he is much faster.
