I really don't want to add to the mass of the handle on my LAM, since it likes to fall down while I am handling the boolit, but I do have a couple of ideas that may work for you.

1. Take the bicycle grip off and slip a longer piece of tubing or conduit over the steel handle.

2. Take the bicycle grip off and put a ball handle on the original one. A two inch wooden ball from the hobby section would do for a trial unless you have an old cue ball laying around.

I did not measure the it, but the handle on mine looks pretty close to ½"-20 thread.

Good luck,

Robert

I used a round wooden ball from a hobby shop. That puts the hand on the end of the handle, not halfway down the handle. Many coats of finish and it sort of rolls in the hand and adds little weight. Yes, you do need to be mindful that the ram does not come down on the fingers.

It is threaded. But it is an standard American National Fine thread: 1/2 x 20.

Just in case.

Be very careful sizing that many bullets. If you get tendonitis in your elbow it may take a year to get well like mine did.
