My hogs have plenty of heaven, all in little black containers. 4 to 8 pounds at a shot......

Enjoy your warm weather and lack of powder..........

I saw CFE223 in stock on gunbot the same time I caught Powder Valley and the Promo. All around 1600 or so. Maybe thats the time to check for powder.
I have a couple of pounds of CFE223 that I don't think I'm going to use. If you were closer I'd do a FTF for my cost and lunch at McD's.

I got an email from Midway yesterday, with a special $10 off a $50 order. I figured I would check the powders. I'm after 748, and it was out of stock.

Is promo clean burning? I use clays but that hasn't been in stock for quite awhile.

In a shotgun it might not be as clean as Clays but with cast it won't be noticeable.

I have 8 pounds of Promo waiting for my Red Dot to run out.

I have had great luck with it. I ran across it when cruising this forum and looked it up then bought some. Works just like Red Dot by weight in everything Red Dot does and is pretty cheap.

I pick up some when it comes up for sale once in a while and now have enough to last me for a few months. The only problem if there is one is that Promo is only sold by 8lb kegs but at less than $12/lb thats not much of a drawback in my view. With shipping and hazmat it comes in at about $130/8lbs or around $16/lb or so. Pretty good deal

I might have to pick up the 8 pounder at the gun shop and save the 700x I got for the shotgun. I have a bunch of empty 45 auto brass that needs filling.

Thanks
