ok I have got most of my gear rounded up to start casting and want to have a dedicated area or bench where every thing for casting is layed out in a easy to use system that will be in front of window to use a exhaust fan in.
got any pictures or ideals.

Probably to catch the sprues, as they are cut off, just my guess

My guess is cut sprues? At least I use mine for that. Except mine sits on a hotplate so when I need to cool the ol mold off... Give it a break and add already hot hot lead into the pot. Pretty close to the same temp and doesn't sway too much.

Those aren't my pictures. Just random pics from the net.
Great answers given to the cake pan question.

I fold up a towel and place it in the bottom of a cake pan like the one shown. I drop the newly cast bullets on the towel...

I was thinking it might be a water to drop in to but did not make sense to have it close to pot
I have a wider area to work with than that one shone and was thinking pot on the left near window (i am right handed) and drop area in middle
and have what ever tools I will need mallet, screw driver, flux, on right. but after I get started I sure things will need adjusted.
