3pm NZ time today, that's in 5 hours, the funeral will take place for Denver, Peter's son.

So sad to hear of his loss. I've lost many friends and a few family members in the last few years but I'm not sure how I'd handle losing one of my sons no matter the circumstances.

It is a hard thing to outlive your child, and I have thought of him and
his terrible loss many times since first hearing of it. My brother lost a
son and we think of him every day. A prayer for Peter to be able
to deal with this better.
