I have got it off of ebay for around $1.15 a pound with shipping. Only bid on 50 lb. lots with flat rate ($10 shipping). Your post office emplyees will hate you though.

That's what I do too. 50 pound lots on those "buy it now" ones. And the poor postwomen didn't like it. Go to the linotype page on ebay. Be careful with some of the sellers. I almost go hosed by one of them but Paypal took care of it and I got my money back. I now only buy from the higher volume sellers.

I just received 50 pounds for $60 delivered (49.99 plus 10 or so shipping) from theoldgrainery. It was a "buy nowl" deal and for $1.20 per pound delivered seemed reasonable considering what some bid this stuff up too lately.

I believe Art Green is in California and still sells lino for a good price. Run a quick search here and you should turn up his telephone number.

Randyrat the seller you got the alloy from has a second lot of 48lbs for the same price. I asked him a question if it was lino or monotype, did not answer question. In the picture it looks like single letter monotype?
