Mainspring broke

The main spring for my H&A Turn barrel broke and I need to buy another or fabricate one.

I tried the usual sources of Numrich, Brownells and EBay but couldn't find one.

Any other sources you can think of?

How about material for fabricating? What would I use and where do you buy?

I'd check Dixie Gun Works, Muzzleloader Builder Supply or Track of the Wolf. One of them should have something that would work for ya. There is another thread going here looking for a mainspring, you might follow that one to see where the gentleman finds help.

Yes there is a fellow down in Florida who makes these along with his own underhammer action. I got one from him a couple years ago and will have to see if I can find the address. Or google underhammer guns and you will find it.
