I hope this is not a repeat but has anyone ever used a Forster Universal Hollow Pointer? Ordered one today and was wondering. Guess I should of ask before ordering LOL.

PM Larry Gibson, I know he uses that Forster quite a bit. Me, I'm cheap & built my own hollow pointing jig w/holders for each cal. boolit I use it on. Mine woks well as I'm sure the Forster does....some here don't like HP's for their own reasons but that's a personal choice to me. I prefer them for thin-skinned targets, but not when I want 2ft+ of penetration (big, heavy, eat your **** animals).

Thanks for asking the question. I have been thinking about one for some time but just have not pulled the trigger on one yet. I too will be watching the answers. james

Larry's the man: He got me on the fast track to HP'ing 230 gr 45 acp....for as much as you need no sense in a special mould, Shoot it solid for practice and hollow.......well when you need to!
