TX200.177 Hard To Beat

After going between the TX,RWS 48,Ruger Airhawk,RWS 36 and Benji NP it seems the TX just always shoots where I aim and is very unsesitive to hold position.The others at times will shoot vey well but seem to require much more concentration to shoot consistently.It may be a $600 "BB Gun"<G> but its one of the finest rifles I have shot. I would put it up to my Anschutz 54 MS I once used as far as balance and quality.

what scope are you using?

BSA Airgun 4-12 and Hawke 3-9 x40.the BSA is clearer than the other but I like the mildots on the Hawke.

that is a hard statement to argue with. the air arms is one of the finest production springers made today! excellent gun. still saving my pennies for a lefty in walnut! ;)

Comparing the RWS 36 and Ruger Airhawk to the TX200 either truly elevates the former two airguns to a rather enviable status or pulls the TX200 down to the level of being twice over priced. I owned one some years ago but sold it and kept my FWB 300S. If I could shoot either of these two air rifles as accurately as they are capable of shooting, I would be a hero in my own eyes!:wink:

the RWS 48 has shot many groups as small as the TX and once in awhile the 36 will shoot 3/4" at 50.i shouldn't have mentioned the Airhawk but its not that bad up to 25 yards.The TX also has the advantage of liking cheap pellets like the Crosman pointed Walmart 250 tins($3 ea).The TX and RWS are just a bit bulky and heavy for my trail walks by the river and the 36 is about right weight wise.
