HF PC Matte Black vs other colors

Is there any difference in performance/barrel fouling between Black matte and other colors?
I've read some people like Black Matte and others say stay away from it.

There is the possibility that the matte black is slowly eating bores but so far I think it's unproven.

I'm finding the gloss red to be everything I need it to be. But I admit the looks factor is all about the matte black.

I personally have seen absolutely no wear or documented proof of degradation of rifle and pistol bores with the matte black.

Sure it is different than the gloss and does NOT work with the dry method....if you choose to use that way. I use the black (and ALL colors) in the ES gun with great success and performance.

I think many may diss it because it just will NOT work with the poor-man's coating techniques and they have no hand's on experience with it. It's only human nature to promote what you know and are familiar with.

I will continue to use it (and other colors) until someone can provide to me definite proof it is abrasive to guns!
