Keep in mind this is a stock two groove Remington 1903A3, with a 10x Weaver Fine Cross Hair.93531 93532
The picture showing one out is 17 grs 2400 behind a 311365 , the other is 16grs 2400 behind a 311290.
The molds are from (who else) NOE.
The 311290 weighs in at 217 grs and the 311365 198 grs.
You'll like this, cases are 270 Winchester, resized for the 30-06.
WLR primers.
50/50 Lubed and LIGHTLY tumbled in Alox.
Seated to the middle of the top band.
And yes the groups are repeatable (I tried more before I sent pictures)

If I could keep from getting excited I might actually be able to shoot almost as good as the Big Boys.

BTW the 311365 is turning in the same results with 12.7 grs Red Dot and 24.5 grs of H335, 29 grs of 2520 is also looking good.

Thanks for all the help guys!

Before I forget 100 yds

Thanks Longbow.

Just trying to give people like myself hope.

What is also interesting is that stock rifles with, issue rear sights, a good Globe front sight, the right insert and target
will produce the same results.

Just easier with the scope.

Nice shooting.

12.7gr Red Dot vs 16/17gr 2400 vs 24.5 grs of H335 vs 29 grs of 2520. Looks like the Red Dot is going to save you a bunch of money and get you twice as much shooting in.

Waco Way to excited to Choro. I'll set it up when I calm down.

Probably around 1400+.

Cast boolits seem to give their best results at velocities below what people want to hunt with.

Jonp Ya! The Red Dot SHOULD last awhile. Then again, with someone like me, I will probably shoot more,
use more lead, more primers etc. Awful, awful situation!

Yeah, I use Ben as an example of how I would like to shoot too! We all have to have goals. I am working on it.

If you are cheap like me, you might want to reconsider this shooting more because you use less powder to include lead too. I recently bought a Mihec 316410 (311410 Lyman clone) for my .303's and love it. It is lightweight so cheap on lead and can be cast a HP or solid so some variety. At 130 grs. recoil is non-existent over 20 grs. of IMR4227 but it shoots quite well and vapourizes water jugs.

I went the same route for my .44 mag Marlin and got Accurate to make me a 165 gr. TC lightweight boolit for it.

Cheap on powder, cheap on lead, what's not to like? Mind you it may be hard to reproduce that accuracy you are getting with the 311365 ~ that is pretty impressive!

Hey Blammer it's your gas checks that are making things come together..

Really though I am very pleased with your product.

Longbow I have three light weight boolits for the 03's. Noe 311155, Lyman 311466 and the Lee version.
At the moment I'm getting about 1" to 1 1/4" with them, working on making them really shine,
just haven't found the sweet spot with any of them ( YET).
