I'm considering a 9 mm mould for general use in a Glock 34 (with an after market barrel), Beretta 92 and Sig 226. Does anyone have experience with the NOE 358-135G-FN? I recognize that I'll need to size to suit each barrel (which I have already slugged). Thanks in advance.

I just started a thread about 9mm molds and that one was highly recommended by member Boolseye. I just bought it wed and Al shipped it same day. Showed up yesterday in the mail and I gotta say its beautiful! Havent casted with it yet but looking forward to see what it can do. Boolseye posted a couple of pics of bullets and expansion. Check it out. Looks nice

Size to the largest diameter that will freely chamber in the gun.

I just received the same mold yesterday, 5 cavity. The boolits just fall from that as I open it. They sure look purdey!

Lee 356 120 TC is strongly recommended for 9mm. TC design is a good
feeder and has a short full diam section out of the case, more likely to
chamber in a wider range of chamber/throat configurations.

Read the sticky on "Setting up a new 9mm for boolits", it may
save you some time.

To the OP:–yes, the NOE is a very nice mold and I recommend it. I shoot it from a p226. I size to .358 and have only ever cast HPs from the mold, though solids are an option. It comes with extra pins. I am taking Bill's advice and adding the 356-120TC to my collection as well. This is the non-TL version, FWIW (thanks Bill). If you are a new caster, the HP mold is a bit more involved to use. Jim was up to the challenge, tho 8-)
