I broke the sheet metal handle on my 450 lube sizer Christmas day. Got on lymans site and ordered the upgrade kit which essentually makes it the 4500 less the heater hole.
Received the package, written on the package was MADE IN USA. Nice to see this.
Changed out old parts for new and WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE. New ram is .08 smaller than original.
old ram was not worn at all, i have always oiled and cleaned it as wear is a problem on these. Now, old ram and sizer had almost no slack. New ram and linkage feels like hammered dog turd coated with sand. Come on lyman, really? New parts smaller than worn originals. Not sure what i will do next, complain, turn a new ram on lathe or just eat it. So much slack now top punch rarely enters die centered. This sucks. Anyone else get one undersized?
