8x50mm Rimmed Siamese

Can the 8x50mm Rimmed Siamese be formed from 8mm Lebel? I have formed some from 7.62 X 54R but I have too many rifles in 7.62 x 54R and do not want one of my grandsons or any one else to load a 8MM in the 7.62. I would like some brass with a different head stamp.

8mm Lebel would be to large of a case. the 8mm siamese mauser type 45 is similiar to the 8x50r austrian mannlicher, so your easiest option would be 8x56r. After that, i would go with 45-70.

I have 8x56r also but the 7.62x54r seems easier to reform. The 8x56r has that long taper case the 7.62x54r has a shoulder which seems to move back easier. 54r are Winchester cases and the 56r cases are PPU

Old School: the bore in it looks like it would be a good candidate for a 444.
