Just about settled in to the new shop - starting to run and ship moulds now
2000 Sq. feet with a small office and plenty of power
Have a new HAAS VF-3SS CNC VMC Mill
and a ST-10 CNC TC Lathe on order for the week of 1/20 or so

Have a partner, Matt Watters, that will come on board as soon as the new machines are up and running
Matt has a very extensive machine and manufacturing back ground and has a real "Bull Dog" attitude
And is going to make a great addition to NOE.

Will post more pictures as we go

Al,
OUTSTANDING looking facility, I would love to see how "box" works and turns out the excellentand done right the first time molds.
EVERYONE,as I understand the situation it's going to take about 30 days for everything and everybody to get settled in, their feet on the floor and up and running , So start doing them "Honey Do's" being double extra nice to TOWMBO { The One Who Must Be Obeyed } and she will allow you to get a couple of new molds for Valentines Day.

That looks like a nice shop. I used to do the maintenance and tenant improvements on many small business suites like that. The base units were a lot like yours, but some of them were built into all office space (which I did many times) and others were in between. It was fun to see the workings of various businesses and how some products were made/sold. I now work for the family business but our service is half mobile/delivery and the other half is done in a 2.5 car garage that I finished into a shop space. We sharpen scissors, clipper blades, and knives and service animal and human grooming equipment.

I bought a Saeco #315 mold from you last month. It was working very nicely the second time I used it. I was blown away with the weight difference between the 5 cav aluminum NOE and my 4 cav brass 45 SAA MP mold, although the MP also has steel HP pins. I like the MP, but was much less fatigued with the aluminum and I am happy to see that you have so many aluminum molds.

I have done some fabrication work and welding for business and I also do it for a hobby along with automotive work. I can appreciate the quality in your molds and I enjoy seeing how a product is built. I have a few lee molds that don't even come close to your quality and I have some RCBS, Ideal, and lyman molds that are great but still not quite as good. Of course those all seem to be relatively big companies that produce on a large scale.

I thought I read that you had some other machine shops do work for you, but I could be wrong. I was just curious as to how you got into making molds, if you do all the work in house, and how you make each boolit profile. Do you use cherries or can various designs be made with CNC cutters.

If you have a back story, that you are willing to share, or can post more on how a custom mold is brought to life, I am sure many of us would be interested. I have seen some videos on the net of the blocks being made and it looks like routine CNC work. I don't recall seeing how sprue plates are made (I assume more CNC work) or how the cavities are cut. It sounds like this is a small business that may still be young and I am guessing that this isn't the only work that you do.

Good luck with the new shop. Fortunately, you have a great product that should be even easier to get our hands on, and unfortunately, I will probably want more molds than my wallet can handle.

I'm keeping an eye on some of those "0" what is the best way for us to let you know we are after a mold currently out of stock.
I'm guessing knowing how many people are chasing a particular mold would be a big help in setting production scheduals and run sizes.

What is the difference between FN and RF. I was tring to deciper from the pictures, but they look almost identical to me. In particular I was looking at the 4 cavity 135/128 mold

Thanks

Looks great. Now all you need to finish it out is one of these http://haascnc.com/we_spec1.asp?id=EC-400PP&sizeID=20_30INCH_HMC#gsc.tab=0:kidding: sorta.

I am fortunate to have the privilege of installing one of those over the next two days.

Swede,
I just got 2 molds from you, The 35-200 GC and PB and they are by far the easiest molds to cast with that I have! The boolits came out prefect from he very first cast until the last cast.... I will be ordering more of your molds when I can scrape up some money (im disabled) I really want some of your hollow point pistol boolit molds in 45acp, 9mm, 380acp and 44Mag.... One day I will have them!! :D

Im on other forums and have been telling people of my experience with your molds so I hope you are getting even more business...

Take a look at our Group Buy Link Thread
http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?231667-NOE-Group-Buys

We have worked very hard the last 4 or 5 months to get our new shop up and running
And "put together" a workable group buy system.
We are not making any great promises and offering any supper reduced prices.

We are here for the long haul and will be making bullet moulds for a very long time.

Both Matt and my self (Swede) thank you for being great customers and welcome all
you new ones.

I have a number of NOE's moulds, and I am very pleased with all of them. Al is also great to deal with, and he's very helpful if you have any questions or want advice. I plan on buying more when they're available.

Check them out!
