Looking for a scope for My savage 22-250 that will have good optics. Right now I have a piece of trash (bsa) and its not any good. What sugestions for a good to better scope. The Nikon can be had for 196.00 shipped to Me.

Go with the Nikon for that price or look at Vortex optics. They maybbe slightly higher but are very nice glass.

id recomend if you want a scope over 9x that you step up to at least a buckmaster with a paralex adustment and if the gun is going to be used for small varmits you skip the bdc reticle. its more of a thing for deer sized game.

I am a very large fan of Nikon Optics. For the money I don't think you can do much better. I took a pair of Monarch Binocs to Africa with me and people with glass costing many times them (Leica, Zeiss etc) raved about how good they were and constantly borrowed them.

My friend who is an avid hunter and goes on trips every year as well as hunts year round near his house swears by Leopold Vari X Products especially the Vari X iii.
