Bill, when does the CCW law cut in?

Bill
You can begin submitting your proof of completion of training, electronic fingerprints and transfer of $150.00 to the Illinois State Police starting January 4th, IF ALL GOES WELL.

Now if you do not have a BA in computer science (yes from what I have heard it is that complicated for us seniors) the state will begin making paper forms available starting some time in June.

At that point the ISP have 90 days to process your application.

My gut feeling is that the Crook County Sheriff will drop a bomb between now and the 4th to put the process on hold till another trip to court either changes the law to MAY ISSUE (giving him power to refuse everyone in cook co) Or telling him to get used to folks carrying in the few places in the county he and his minions have not declared GUN FREE ZONES.

Some say we have nothing to worry about BUT I have lived here to many years to think these crooks are going to roll over so easily.
