Maybe Dufus Al has is right. I went to the Post Office today and it was too warm for even a light jacket,73%. I did have on a long sleeve shirt but after a while that became too warm. Most of the guys I saw were wearing t-shirts. I feel for all you guys manning the snow shovels. Temps here supposed to drop two degrees tomorrow but go back to high 70s later in the week. I do miss the sleigh rides, snowball fights, ice storms and power outages but sigh, I do have my memories.

For summer we have been unseasonably cold and wet. Never thought I'd wear a fleece in Central Otago on the day after Christmas but there I was all rugged up. Our seasons appear to have shifted a month or two.

Come to Western Colorado. Single digits in the morning and just barely above freezing in the sunny afternoon

The older I get, the more I like the idea of global warming.

Our global warming seemed to disappear overnight Saturday. Dropped from 50 to 10 and windy.

Hardly!

They have been harping for several years about the melting ice caps and we are all gonna drown. Now we have ice breakers stuck in all that disappearing ice and other ice breakers that can't get to them even though they had only 2 weeks of supplies.

Why is algore being so quiet now?

Hereabouts, it hardly ever gets below freezing at ground level. On the rare times it did, folks lost a lot of plantings, as well as vehicle and boat engines.

Last month we had two weeks of weather in the twenties, with several nights as cold as 21F.

algore is probably wrapped in wool, wishing it was warmer, so that he could make a few more million dollar speaking engagements.

It's not Global Warming anymore, they got caught in that lie too many times. Now the same idiots call it Climate Change, that covers all their stupid mistakes. Seems like algore is so booked with speaking engagements that he hasn't had time to think up the newest scam.

Single digits since late November, 150+ inches since Thanksgiving, four more months of winter. I hate snow, I hate cold, I hate winter. Too poor to move South.

I like having snow, dirt is just too hard on the snowmachine tracks.

Gentleman, I was making a joke. Not very funny but a joke none the less. I cannot stand Al Gore and his stupid boring monotone manner of speech but you have to give the Bozo some credit, he is worth maybe a billion dollars. For a man who was never paid over a couple hundred thousand dollars a year, he has done very well. For the record I have never bought the man made global warming bull ****. The earth will warm and cool when it wants to and we have no control on it what so ever. Had it not been for the earth warming about ten thousand years ago much of the northern latitudes would be void of humans.

Back in the 80's I was buffaloed by the labor union into voting for him for Senator. Well... I admit to my mistakes.

He's the one that bought the Al-Jazera TV network. That's all we need in this country.

I thought he sold All-Jazera his network.

Either way the best thing he has done in a while is stay off my television.

Those Russians trapped in the ice in Antarctica are learning not to believe the global warming priesthood. The Antarctic pack is more than 100 miles farther north than it has been in 200 years at this time of the season. On the other hand, they are investigating climate change and finding out all about the global cooling that has been going on for ten years. Other Russian and British scientists are saying we are going into another mini ice age so maybe those people on the boat are studying that.

Yep, I spent 34 years in the Teamsters, every election they mailed out their voting guide. I took this guide to the polls with me religiously and who ever they said to vote for I made certain that person did not get my vote. In every instance the teamsters said to vote for the socialist.

Silly boolit caster, of course it's Bush's fault and it doesn't matter what "it" is, it's still Bush's fault. They blamed him for stuff that happened before he was born and the progressives incapable of a thought of their own just drank the Kool-Aid and believed it.

Well where I am we had the seventh coldest January19.3 degrees and the seventh hottest july 110 degrees in 2013 and we are looking at repeating it in 2014 at least for the coldest temp.
Yep old Al Gore sure knows how to pull a PT Barnam, should have to give back all the money he made off of it though.

Ole Jack

I remember a scant few decades ago it was all about the coming Ice age bunk. If this planet is in a period of transition it's not because of man..it is simply a 'normal' change. Think about this - Einstien had a theory on 'crustal displacement' . That is the earth's crust moving/shifting from it's molten core - tied in with changes of the magnetic poles. All related mathemtically , and since were are 120k years past due the typical changes as known by geologists we may be on the cusp of this change. Nothing to do with man made anything.

Made? As in "earned"? When you collect money off a scam it is not earning it . . . It is stealing it.
