I was just wondering how these feed, and what kind of performance to expect out of these in my puma. Anyone have any experience with them?

I use that design, but from a two cavity mould. I have to seat them to crimp in the front crimp groove for proper feeding. They perform very well, and I've had them up to 1950 fps.

If I remember right, DanWalker has said good things about this too.

I have some, I plan on using in my Puma .45 Colt, when I get some time probably in Feb, I will develop a load for them. I did load up a dummy to test for function/feeding, it worked ok.

have shot a few 44 carbines, W-94 20" barrel and a rossi model 92 copy. Neither is much fun with heavy loads. Infact, they are quite lively with full loads. What I was wonding is just how bad is shooting a casull 454 with a full load.

Probably the easiest comparison would be a light weight 30/06 sporter shooting 180 grain bullets. Maybe 25% heavier recoil than your .44 rifles.
