It could be my imagination, but I think the response time is better than the old server.

Question for Gunload Master: does it do any harm to the system to stay logged in all the time? Some members have said that, but I would like to hear the word from you.

Thanks...charlie

Works on my phone, but not on my PC. I keep getting the vBulletin message

Unplug your router, wait about 5 minutes. Then plug it back in. It just needs to be refreshed with the new server IP

Willie,
Has obummer contacted you yet about fixing the ACA website? :)
Getting this message in Brass Trader: "Warning: Illegal string offset 'name' in [path]/includes/functions.php on line 6845"
Seems to work ok anyway. Thanks for your dedication and efforts.

Work for a few post look ups then goes back to the vBulletin message. Now not working at all. Logged onto my old ladies phone and it is working for now. I flushed the DNS cache and still does not work on my phone. We use our phones as our internet for the PC.

There are many folks out there that are having a hard time with this one I think.... The Hosts file is the problem..... and it is hard to get to on some apple products, as well as android....

on Windows7, Windows8, windows Vista, and windows XP, the file lives in the directory c:\windows\system32\drivers\ect and it is called Hosts....

You will need to add the following line to it...

162.220.61.80 castboolits.gunloads.com

and then save the file in its original place.... then you need to restart your browser, but prolly easier to just restart windows and go for it. If you are having trouble doing this, and you can PM me from another device, I can try to walk you through it....

Looking great here. Thank you for your work keeping this site top notch. I have not found the new 'smellable' font and the site is not spewing tin from the CD tray yet, but that may be in the next upgrade.

Thank you and Merry Christmas.

It's fine here, when I push the clicky-thingy on the left side of the mouse, things work faster than they used to. Usually it's just a sentence to my son, "Matthew, what's this goofy thing think it's doing now"? Your brains, and his, must be bigger than mine.

Is really slow here, took several minutes to get it to load the second page of this thread. No other sites are slow, I have 30MB internet and I'm a computer professional (I build and run web servers on UNIX). Some of the pages load quickly but most are currently taking much longer than they should.

I was finally able to get on late today. Was off for almost one day, and had started to have withdrawal symptoms. Glad to be able to get back. Does seem much smoother and faster now. Thanks for all the hard work.

Possibly a switch/router between you and the server? the server has been running very smooth all day.

Thanks guys. I am glad it's running good for everyone! And no need to send me any funds. This is why I have a kitty account to pay for expenses like this that are unexpected. Donations are always welcome though :)

You did a great job.

Now get a good long nights sleep as you have certainly earned it.

That goes for all of your silent helpers as well.

THANKS again.

Thank you, works perfectly on a Win 7 PC. No DNS issues at all, totally seamless
from this viewpoint. Probably did not look that way from your end!

Well done.

Thank you. I too was starting to have withdrawal symptoms. Irritable, shaky and generally out of sorts. Left the computer and went out to the shop and cast a few thousand, seemed to help! Seriously, thanks for the excellent work. It is a vast improvement. Great job.
