I would like to get a collet for a Forster Original case trimmer I aquired to hold .38 Spec & .357 mag cases.
However I'm puzzled on the # collet I need for these cartridges. Their instructions are not straight forward ( or maybe I'm backwards) Would any one know what Collet it is......... and possibly where to get one ( in stock)?
Thanks

Collet #3 / Pilot 35

Have you checked their site? I usually order direct so I get everything at once.

Mine is well past its 40th birthday and still going strong.

Order all 3 collets and the pilots of your choice. Also order the adaptor so you can use a variable speed drill to speed up the trimming.

Buy a container of "LOCK LUBRICANT" and use it on the shaft. You will never use up that can but the shaft will go on forever.

I just trimmed 1K 223s down to 20 Var Targs with 0 problems on mine.

Also did 1K to 221 Fireballs. Some day if I live long enough I MIGHT need to get the cutter sharpened.
