28 degrees here - just got in snow blowing about 8" that we weren't supposed to get. They had forecast an inch or two.

It's nice here today. Still have some snow on deck, but I can sit in the garage with just a vest on and a long john shirt.

No snow to speak of here, I think we got maybe 3/8 of an inch this morning. What we do have is ice, just a very light mist that is hitting the ground and freezing.

Made for a very slick road coming home from Mom's house in town this evening. I was going about 20 when I went over US71 and saw a couple of semis that looked to be going about the same speed. I sure am glad I didn't have more than five miles to go, if I had I would have stayed at Mom's tonight.

I would rather have to mess with a foot of snow than ¼" or less of ice.

We had some stuff that looked like snow this weekend. My daughter could not understand why she could no scoop it up in her hand, and it was interesting chiseling 3" thick ice off the walkway to find dry concrete underneath.
