Fill with propane, shoot with incendiary rounds?

I prefer the kind I don't have to take down. Yes, that means not putting them up.

I have a small santa holding a fishing rod ornament meant for hanging on a tree. I set it on top of the TV.

I just let the wife shine a flahlight outside at night, the ice in the trees makes pretty little sparkles and they go away by themselves.

Same here. I'm having a new roof and gutters put on next week so I can't put any up if I wanted to.

Done Thanksgiving weekend, so it interferes less with hunting.

Now I have to try that. I don't have any personally, but I think my neighbor 4 doors down does.

Tree is up (artificial - in three years we have replaced every string of lights on that pre-lit tree!) and will be decorated this week. Have candles to go in the windows, they will probably be in place tonite or tomorrow nite. Don't do anything outdoors.

I do just a little bit on the front porch, the lions share is inside the house.

I try to make it special for the family that comes to visit, my kids drive down from Virginia, and my favorite cousin and her husband drive down as well.

Is that your place? I didn't think they allowed grass in AZ!

No kids, no wife, and the dog could care less about a tree. Outdoor lights cost money I don't have, I never get them the way I envisioned them to look, and they cost money to light up.

SO this is what I do every year to "decorate" my home;

That's a 4 piece ceramic that interlocks by Terry Redlin, the outdoor artist from Wisconsin. It has a wood base and that center candle has been replaced with a much bigger 3 wick.

Yep, that's Bermuda grass
- doesn't like winter much but I refuse to reseed with rye
- the back yard is rocked so that means the Bermuda tries to come up there as well.

Some HOA subdivisions do have ordinances about what you can have for landscaping or
for that matter what color paint you can use on your house out here
- I Dislike HOA's

- I had a friend who bought into one had some retired guy running around in the community golfcart
minding everyone else's business - Mike got tired of it and ran for treasurer of the board of directors
- funny when no check's get written by the treasurer or bills sent out to violators by the treasurer -
- lots of extra stuff that had been supported no longer gets done. :-P
I think he was glad when he could sell that place and move on.

I like Christmas and other than flying the flag it is the only decorating i do. I am happy with a tree and 1/2 of one wall at most. Holly's decorations would fill a storage shed if she didn't have a corner of my shop. We stay outof each others way untilit is up.

I am a big kid when it comes to Christmas. I have lights all over the outside of the house. Peach tree in the from yard is full of candy canes and flashing lights. The walkway has little santa's lining the walk up to the house. We have a 9 foot tree decorated to the max with presents for the grandkids to tear into Christmas eve. Grand babies love coming to grandma and grandpa's house. We have a blast and it is worth all the hassel of putting them up and taking them down. Grand babies drive their parents crazy wanting to go outside to look at all the lights blinking. And ALL the toys under the tree make noise

One white light in each front window, according to traditon to guide the Holy Family should they come my way. No more. Can't afford it.

I have a two foot tree, pull it out plug it in. When over with I unplug it and put it back in the box. Think about decorating outside but never get around to it. Don't have or want a wife.
