If you can't fix it, take a picture and call it art.

Who would have thunk: art from our hobby! I'll go to you opening if it is down by the river or over the hill.

You could also make little people, one drop at a time, and horsies, and dragons! If only I had the patience to do it. It would probably be better to use pewter for this project though.

Looks like something from a horror movie!
Unfortunately, I can't try and emulate your talent 'cos my RCBS doesn't drip

Now that is the "silk purse from a sows ear" thing, I like it!

I didn't work this one at all; that is how it hit my ingot mold I use to catch drips. I have thought about taking a piece of aluminum foil or a pie pan and turning it to "create" something a little more exciting (After I drop a couple hundred bullets of course).

I will probably be a one hit wonder though. I haven't met too many bonafide artist I want to hang out with and I would rather shoot than sip wine in a gallery.

Gosh, I didnt realize how much 'art' I was throwing out.:drinks:
Every casting session I get a couple different pieces of 'art'.
BTW: Is a couple pieces of 'art' all the things folks have to complain about the Lee pot?

I didnt realize how much 'art' I was throwing out. Which is more useful? Art or BOOLITS?

Perhaps if you work on different lighting and close up angles it would look even more interesting. With digital photography it doesn't cost anything now.

Need to get a better camera. I would call this temporary art like building sand castles and stuff. Enjoy it for a moment, melt it, and mold it into something really beautiful like a .452 200 gn SWC.

Maybe I should have posted it in the Humor Section.

When I get a nice piece of 'art', that is when the pot is hot enough to start casting.

I once had a full 20lb Lee pot drip out and onto picnic table top. Abstract art
