I just bought a few hundred jacketed 30 cal projectiles and I have several perfectly good 30 cal moulds. I now feel dirty and ashamed. I think I need to re-read the casting sticky threads so this doesn't happen again.:mrgreen:

Enjoy them. Cast are fun and stuff, but sometimes it is nice to pick XX bullet, load it over XX powder, and go shoot sub MOA at distance with nary a care in the world. No M Die, no special size, no magic lube, no odd seating issues, etc.

Load, shoot, happy dance.

I still buy jacketed bullets for all my calibers when I find them on sale.

I have a hair trigger 308x444 (309jdj clone) single shot with a muzzle breaker that I only shoot from the bench and have never shot a boolit in it. I like to really push them out of this gun so copper coated is the only way to go.
