Lee mold question

So I was casting yesterday with 2 seperate molds and both had the same problem. The screw that holds the sprue plate tight kept coming loose. It was a real PITA to keep tightning that screw during casting because as soon as I got into a groove I had to re tighten. Any thoughts or fixes that can be done to fix this problem?

I think there is a "sticky" about it but drill and tap the mold on the side for a #8 socket head screw to lock the adjusting screw in place. This is a standard procedure for me whenever I get a new Lee mold. Takes about 20 minutes and will save a lot of frustration.

Remove the screw....make a small shim cut from an aluminum soda can long enough to fit the hole...carefully replace the screw and tighten...
