I have been wishin', hopin', searchin' and begging for some Bullseye. Yesterday I get a phone call from LGS. "We have a couple of 1 pound canisters of Bullseye; "Can you pick it up within the next 48 hours?"

You know the rest of the story. Temporary happy camper!

I'm back in business.

I just picked up 2 pounds of IMR 4227 last weekend myself. I was out. I don't like paying the $25 per 1 pound container since I prefer to buy in 8 pound jugs but at least I have some 4227! I have plenty of other powders but for some reason I hadn't resupplied my 4227 stock before the obamascare hit the fan.

I got 2 pounds of SR4759, and a pound of 3031 this week, I feel kinda like I popped the lottery.
They had Varget too, but I had that already.

I just found out that the next big town to the south of me has a sportsmans warehouse last night.
they had a pretty decent selection of primers and bullets.

they are a bit lighter in unique....and in boots the wife's size, and an antler mounting kit for littlegirls buck and... [FACE/PALM] I should know to only go there alone.

It has been open for maybe a month or more. Glad you found it.

Thanks Airman! I just ordered an 8 pound jug of 4227. It still cost $23.58 a pound delivered - powder $147.20, hazmat $25, shipping $14.19, insurance $2.25 - total = $188.64 but at least I have 10 pounds on hand now.

Wow. I guess I should feel blessed that I live within driving distance to a well stocked wholesaler. I just couldn't imagine having to pay that much to have powder shipped. Sorry you guys are having such a tough time.

$19/lb isn't a bad price I think.

I'm low on Unique,
No one around here has any on the shelf :(
I haven't checked lately, but a month ago, it wasn't to be found online either.

I picked up #3 of rifle powder in a deal last week. It might even work out to be free after I sell some stuff.

Right now I'm buying 1 item a week be it primers or powder or brass (44mag brass is still hard to come by) untill the next presidential election. Don't want to be caught flat footed again. Got down to spooky levels last time
