My nephew was up hunting [ see post in hunting] and we took the time to check out the pin modifications i sent of to have Buckshot do a couple of months ago. I took the LY devastator hp and made 2 pins that were smaller and one was shorter. Both measured 0.156. We shot this test with a Speer 115 gr hp as a control out of a CZ 85 and the cast were out of a Taurus Millenium Pro 3". The cast were backed with 4 gr Bullseye the Speer 4.1 gr green dot. Alloy was WW. The devastator had the most expansion by far of the cast almost equal to the Speer. There was little difference in the 2 modified pins. 1 bullet was recovered after traveling through3 gallon water jugs and into the dirt behind them. It showed expansion at the midpoint but no petals or expansion at the nose. I will need to use a pure lead or push these faster to get expansion. The factory point may be the best option here.
