Getting every thing together to give the Hi-tek coatings a go and wondering what oven those using it would recommend.
Seems even temp is critical to the process so the better the oven the better the results.
The are a few different ones mentioned in the Hi-Tek thread but the one that stands out for me is the Breville smart oven

5 elements, fan and simple to use not cheap but if it produces the results probably good value.

Any other suggestions?

I use a $30 el cheapo from Wal Mart. Has worked fine for coating over 8,000 boolits. That reminds me that I need more wheel weight ingots...

I'm using a cheap dial temperature toaster oven. The temps swing. I got a good temperature indicator with thermal couple. The oven was off by 50 degrees. I was able to control the temps with the new indicator. I was finally getting good results. For next season, I'm getting the Breville 800. I want the digital control and convection.
