You need 25 posts to access the Pit.

You also need to be a member 30 days then it will open and do not forget the rules!
A) if you need blood pressure medicine take it before opening politics and religion.
B) no eating or drinking when in humor and off topic we do not clean keyboards or screens.

Another note some only post down there and tend to rile up others on purpose this is not acceptable Just today i put the second person on a ignore list as he threatened another down there the other person was a while back and the administrators later took him off castboolits.

Live in the Pit, we remove your posting privileges there. It makes the staff work much lighter. The Pit is not meant to be taken in large doses. When we look at a person's profile, we want to see a much higher percentage of posts on other areas of the forum.

Nice knife from a horseshoe. A friend of mine makes all kinds of things from horseshoes he gets cheap at auctions. I haven;t the pleasure of pounding on a horseshoe yet. Are they just mild steel or a decent carbon content ??

Horseshoes are pretty soft so you should forge weld some high carbon to the edge so it'll hold the sharpness better.
