Ok brother boolit men... I am taking the plunge on this fine Veterans day... And i will document my results here in this thread...

Yesterday, I cast some 375 boolits.. They are here...

Today, i warmed the boolits up with my toaster for a minute, stood them up on their bases on a foil wrapped pan and took the boolits out for their first coat of white VHT. I popped them into my oven to help them dry at the lowest setting for about 15 min, took them out and gave them another coat and dried them again.

I think i will put one more coat and dry them again before I cure them at 300 for 10 min as posted.

I noticed that there was a small bit of bubbling, prolly due to having too much epoxy.

I will wait a day before i do the smash test, and then the firing test.

By VHT do you mean the high temp paint made for motors
