I want to start casting bullets for .308. I am planning to purchase a Lee Precision 180 RN mold, and Sizing die kit. I have cast bullets before in 240 gr Keith SWC for my .44 mag. using a Lee Sizing die with great results. I want to make some cast bullets in .308 for my model 94 carbine, T-C Contender carbine and my Ruger Gunsight rifle. My question is, what size swaging die should I get? .0308, .309, or .311?

hello cherokee
to get the best idea of the size that will work you will need to check the diameter of the barrels
i size mine to 310 but that is what works best for me
and i assume when you sat swaging you are referring to sizing

Check the throat diameters if possible; go with the largest boolet you can get to chamber if you are looking for the best accuracy.
