Beautiful pile of Boolits

It's casting time again in the sultry south. I'm not a marathon caster, I'll get up early each morning and do 3 or 4 hundred before I go to work. Nice way to start the day. This is the result of 2 weeks work. Probably 3 or 4 thousand 230gr 45, 148gr wadcutters, 124gr 357, and 170gr 41 all combined. Should keep me shooting all summer long. Of course I'll cast alot more while it's cold outside, life is good. Almost forgot, thers a few 90gr in there for the wifes Keltek:drinks:

Nice looking pile of projectiles! Nothing makes me smile more than being productive and saving money! I have been smelting the summers collection of WW's, I will post a pic later. I cast the 230gr. standard Lee 45 cal. bullet and the 200gr. 45 cal. SWC from Lee in the 6 cavity moulds.

...............The sense of security probably give you a warm snuggly feeling :-) Wonder what that would cost is if was shot up as store bought? Hmmmmmmmm. HA, show it to your wife and tell her that represents several thousand dollers in savings, and you're going to use that money to by a New Lone Star Rolling Block. :bigsmyl2:

Buckshot, I cringe at even the thought of what it would cost. Heck even if I bought it commercial cast it would be a sizeable amount. I think I'll tell Momma I'm going to buy her another Vaquero in 45 Colt to match the one I already have, correction, she already has.
