Hello, Folks!

I recently came upon a deal on a few pounds of SR4759, and was thinking of trying it in some of my .45-70 single shots. I usually use black powder, but was toying with the idea of using the SR4759 with paper patch bullets. I'm looking to push 500-520 grain bullets to 1150-1200 fps or so, to duplicate the trajectory of my blackpowder rounds.

Any suggestions as to what charge weights would work? I've found a lot of info on 4759, but not with the 500+ grain bullets.

Thanks very much, y'all take care! Regan

Thanks very much! My 47th edition does too, but if you had not suggested it, I would have never thought to look there.

Thanks again! Regan
