How would the Lee 358-158-RF boolit work in my 357 Max Cadet? Twist is 1:16.

Well, my 357 max Handi Rifle loves them as long as they're not driven too fast. They should be just fine in your max but probably not at full throttle. I'm getting best accuracy around 1250 fps. Too much faster than that and gaschecked bullets start being a lot more useful.

If you want .357 Max performance, you are going to have to go to a GC bullet. The C360-180-RF that as been run as a group buy several times is about ideal.
