A friend gave me some cast bullets last night and I really like the profile.

They are sized .314 and said to weigh 155g with a gas check. No name.

I have a 32/20 single shot made from a SMLE barrel and it likes cast heavy bullets. I shoot a few 123/5g jacketed bullets too. But it prefers the cast. I have a 125g cast PB bullet but haven't got a .314 sizer yet.

I only have 25/30 to test but see no reason they will not preform just as good as they look.

But I would very much like to have this mold in a two cavity.

Do any of you guys recognize it or can point me at a mold maker?

Thanks a lot, CW

Looks like a Lyman 311440 . I think the mold has been replicated by other makers too .

Based on the 314440, I'll bet. Lee six cavity group buy from about 10 years ago? I have it.

Wayne your assessment is spot on!

I called my friend last night and seems he remembers the mold being a 6 cavity aluminum. Custom made for this 32 cal. He also says he should still have it but has not used it in years. He offered to allow me it's use!

Thank again all for the help!

Contact Tom at Accurate Molds; he can make the mold you're looking for.

Here is the basic mold; http://accuratemolds.com/bullet_detail.php?bullet=31-150L-D.png
